Hemp Harvest for Humankind™ (H3™)’s mission is to enrich lives and communities through the growth, cultivation, and harvest of one of nature’s most versatile plants.
Hemp provides multiple, sustainable alternatives to everyday consumer products and our goal is to raise awareness for and donate to foundations and causes each year during Vertical Wellness’s hemp harvest in Cadiz, Kentucky.
Vertical Wellness’s Hemp Harvest for Humankind™ (H3™) is dedicating our first large-scale hemp harvest to the betterment of humankind by giving back to cancer causes that are important to us. From this year’s harvest, we are expecting in excess of 17,000 bales and 2,500 pounds of hemp. Each of our hemp bales will be wrapped in pink and we will be making donations to the following causes:
Tahnee’s Foundation: The Tahnee Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to revolutionizing health, specifically in the areas of nutrition, cancer, the Endocannabinoid System, and the integration of Mind-Body-Soul philosophies and practices. In honor of Tahnee, who passed away from liver cancer in 2017, this foundation brings light to those in need and provides education, outreach, and support to individuals and institutions seeking to join their efforts in redefining the wellness landscape.
Murdoch Family Foundation: The Murdoch family, who grows hemp for Vertical Wellness, lost their daughter to cancer recently and we will be donating in their honor to their foundation or a recipient of their choice.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital: The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of its founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay.
